We all love our pets but, when the little blighters have an accident on our lovely floor, or Upholstery we feel like we could leave them in Timbuctoo for 5 minutes anyway because deep down we do love them and they get away with anything.
Machine washable item
If you have a machine-washable item add some baking soda in the wash with you regular washing powder or detergent. Where possible air drying is best once the item has been cleaned, but if you can still smell the urine wash again with an enzymatic Cleaner. If you find the smell is still there, then the best thing to do is contact a reliable Dry Cleaners to see if anything can be done or if they can help with the smell. Carpets and Upholstery
Try to soak up as much of the urine using a thick layer of white Paper towel or a clean cloth; this must be clean to avoid any colour transfer. It’s always best to call in a professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner; you do not want to risk damaging or discolouring your Carpet by using the wrong solutions. It is not always guaranteed that they can altogether remove the urine smell as the urine would have most probably soaked into the underneath layers of the Carpet.
