Can you have your ceramic tiles professionally cleaned?

There are so many types of flooring for your kitchen, but a stone floor always wins my heart... with the variety of stone, you can create a character that suits you every time. Not forget that if your stone floor is laid right, it can last for years.

From the elegant greys to the rustic oranges... there's something for everyone! If you want a tile floor installed and need some ideas, click on this link to see some images of stone floors: Stone floor ideas.

This is a very straightforward question and it has the easiest answer, yes! Yes, we can professionally clean your ceramic tiles. May I add, I am pleased about it as that’s what I have in my kitchen and now I know who to ask to get them cleaned!

Generally, we recommend professional cleaning at least once a year.

I’m going to cover:

  1. What we charge and how we price it up.
  2. Why is that our minimum charge?
  3. What do other companies charge, and what is their minimum charge?
  4. Best questions to ask when looking for a stone floor cleaner.

So here is what I learned:

1. What we charge and how we price it up.

Cleaning your stone floor will depend on the type of stone. Our fully trained technicians need to know the type, as all stone is dealt with differently. It will also then depend on the size of the job.

Two of our specialists have recently done some training to update their skills:

Once we have all your details, either through email or by calling, our fantastic office team will arrange a quote. We always send a specialised technician out for a free-of-charge quote, as we tailor all jobs to our customer’s needs and specifications.

Our minimum charge for a stone clean is £800 for one tech for a whole day.

2. Why is that our minimum charge?

We are a premium company, and we see your floor as an investment, so we come with:

  • Top-of-the-range van-mounted equipment.
  • Top of-the-range eco-friendly products
  • A fully trained Technician
  • An abundance of knowledge from doing this for years.

We strive to make sure that every customer gets the highest level of care from the start of the job to the finish.

I understand that you may think £800 is a steep price for cleaning your kitchen floor. Please remember that we may be able to help you with other rooms, which will help spread that cost. Hence why we always recommend having one of our technicians come and do a quote.

3. What do other companies charge, and what is their minimum charge?

I researched this in-depth, and all other companies seem to work similarly. They recommend you fill out a form or call to request a quote. I was able to speak to 2, sadly only one of them was available to give me a minimum charge:

Banmar, Colchester:

To contact them, visit: https://www.banmar.co.uk/services/stone-floors

They weren’t available to give me a minimum charge.

They recommend a quote, too, as prices may vary.

Anyfloor London:

To contact them, visit:  https://anyfloor.co.uk/

I could get a minimum charge of £450 plus VAT.

They recommend a quote, too, as their prices may vary.

4. Best questions to ask when looking for a stone floor cleaner.

When looking at anything in life, you always want to make sure it’s the right choice for you. This rule applies when you’re choosing a cleaning company. Some questions to maybe think about and ask the companies:

  • What is your budget?
  • What type of tiles do you have?
  • Search in your area.
  • Check their reviews.
  • How long has the company been doing stone cleaning?
  • Are all the staff fully qualified?
  • Do they offer a 100% money back Guarantee for satisfaction?
